Messaging

  • When a customer replies to an email reminder, estimate, or invoice, the response gets posted to the Messages section of the job.
  • All admin users can see this message. Staff or Technician level users can have the messaging permission enabled to allow them to see the message as well.
  • Any user who was a participant on the job will receive an email.
  • A participant will be the person who created the job, the person who emailed the estimate/invoice, and the worker assigned to the job.

Make sure your users have a notification email set up on their profile. That way, they get an email when a customer responds. When you edit an employee, the notification section is near the bottom.
