Custom Fields

To personalize your Kickserv account even further, custom fields can be added to Jobs, customers, and the contact form as a way to ensure you're getting all the information you need.

Jobs custom fields

To add a custom field to your Jobs, follow the steps below:


  1. Navigate to Settings —> Forms & Fields.
  2. Ensure that the Jobs tab is selected at the top of the page.

  3. Here, you'll find all of the services available offered to customers via your Kickserv account. You can add/edit these services by going to the Services section in Settings, if needed.

  4. You have the option to add custom fields to All Services or a specific service. Choose the option that you'd like to add the custom field to, then select the down arrow.

  5. Select the Add a field button. Type in the name of the field, then choose the field type for how you'd like it to be displayed on the Jobs page. Add options, if applicable.

  6. Select the Create button to add the custom field. You can also choose to include it on your contact form by selecting the box next to Include on Contact Form.

  7. Re-order the custom fields by dragging the three lines to the left of the field up and down.
  8. Edit the custom field by selecting the pencil icon. Delete the custom field by selecting the X icon, then selecting the Remove button.


Customer custom fields

To add a custom field to your customers, follow the steps below:


  1. Navigate to Settings —> Forms & Fields.
  2. Ensure that the Customers tab is selected at the top of the page.

  3. Here, you can add custom fields to capture all the information you need when capturing a lead or new Opportunity.
  4. Select the Add a field button. Type in the name of the field, then choose the field type for how you'd like it to be displayed on the new customer page. Add options, if applicable.

  5. Select the Create button to add the custom field.

  6. Re-order the custom fields by dragging the three lines to the left of the field up and down.
  7. Edit the custom field by selecting the pencil icon. Delete the custom field by selecting the X icon, then selecting the Remove button.
